Photography 1: The Art of Photography

I’d been toying with the idea of a photography degree for some time, but never quite had the courage. Perhaps the most scary thing was the idea that I would have to submit my photos to proper professional scrutiny. I was also in two minds about trying to have my previous experience (nearly 30 years as a keen amateur) accredited – for the same reason.
In the end I took the plunge, submitted a portfolio and kept my fingers crossed. I’m delighted to say that the panel thought the portfolio was worth the 40 CATS points, and that I have passed this module of the degree on my past experience. Next up, Digital Photographic Practice.
